Preserving who we are as a family
What we keep & remember
We have pictures and media. What about everything else? The handwriting, signatures, fingerprints, DNA samples, love notes, favorites — and a place for all of it to end up.

Build your own solution
Nobody needs all of it. Pick what you want and ignore the rest.
Just the book
Book Kit
The illustrated pages that interview you, the box they live in, and the parts of a person a book cannot hold — fingerprints, a blood and saliva card, a cheek swab, hair with the bulb attached. Most people need nothing else.

The book, kept properly
Book Kit + Volume Kit

The same pages, bound into something that belongs on a shelf and will still be readable in eighty years without a device. Working home, then permanent home.

All of it, and the case
Book Kit + Volume Kit + Memorial Case

A clear inner case for each person and one sealed, padlocked case to keep them in — sixteen people to a case, and out the door in one hand. This is the version for keeping everything in one place. Prefer furniture? The Memorial Cabinet is the custom path.

The order of things
What to do first, and why
- Umm — The Book Kit, the DNA capsule, the crystal and the urn. These are the things that wait on other people — a lab, an engraver, a crystal cut to order. Start them first and do everything else while they are on their way.
- Umm — The Workbook. Practice writing, and fill out each page.
- Umm — The Book. Complete the actual plates, and color them if you wish. If you can, scan all of your plates once they are finished, so there is a digital copy as well as the paper one.
- Umm — The Volume. Buy this after the Book is finished, to keep the pages in sleeves.
- Umm — The Memorial Case. Build it from the recipe, then pack their inner case. Fill in the drawer card last, because it is the index to everything else. A family that wants furniture instead can take the cabinet path.
